Great Expectations

Great Expectations is Charles Dickens's novel. It is the second novel, after David Copperfield, to be fully narrated in the first person. It depicts the growth and personal development of an orphan named Pip. The novel was first published in serial form in Dickens' weekly periodical All the Year Round, from 1 December 1860 to August 1861. In October 1861, Chapman and Hall published the novel in three volumes. Great Expectations has become very popular and is now taught as a classic in many English classes. It has been translated into many languages and adapted many times in film and other media.

I have not read this book, but I saw the movie that was made in 1998, starring Ethan Hawke and Gwyneth Paltrow. Entertaining and good performances, I saw many years ago ... I would like to read the book, I know that Dickens was a great writer.

My expectations for this year are first graduate of the University, and for that I need to pass English IV, advance my thesis for my degree next year. Further work on the Solidarity Museum or in a project related to Visual Arts. Because I study art history and makes me very happy!   Make some changes at home, lose weight (jajjaj)

Have fun, with my family, friends and loved ones. Raise money to take a vacation with my boyfriend, because long ago I do not take vacations. I do not know if they are "Great Expectations", but they are things or events rather have achievable and realistic expectations.
